Steel Gate Franconia Concrete provides concrete contracting services to residential and commercial customers in Northern Virginia, including but not limited to driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, retaining walls, pool decks, and related concrete work. All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed and insured personnel. Services are subject to availability, site conditions, and applicable permits.
Written estimates provided by Steel Gate Franconia Concrete are based on information available at the time of the site visit and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Estimates are not guaranteed contracts. Final pricing may differ from an estimate if site conditions, material costs, or project scope change after the estimate is issued.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing and signed by both parties before additional work begins. Verbal agreements to change scope are not binding. We will notify you in advance of any pricing adjustment before proceeding with work beyond the original estimate.
Scheduling is subject to crew availability, weather conditions, and permit timelines. We make reasonable efforts to meet agreed start dates but cannot guarantee specific dates due to factors outside our control, including weather, material delays, and permit processing times.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or permits have been pulled may result in costs that are passed to you. We will communicate any such costs before they are incurred where possible.
We reserve the right to reschedule or suspend work due to weather conditions, site access issues, or safety concerns. We will notify you promptly if a scheduled date needs to change for any reason.
Payment terms are specified in each written contract or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon project completion. Payment is due at the time specified in your contract.
We accept payment by check, cash, and electronic transfer unless alternative arrangements are made in writing. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Virginia law.
We reserve the right to stop work on a project if payment is not received by the agreed due date. Any costs associated with collections or legal proceedings for unpaid invoices may be passed to the customer.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property and project when requesting an estimate. This includes disclosing any underground utilities, easements, HOA restrictions, or other conditions that could affect the work.
You are responsible for obtaining any required HOA approvals before work begins. If HOA approval is denied after work has started due to information you did not disclose, you remain responsible for the cost of work completed to that point.
Steel Gate Franconia Concrete warrants that work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Any specific warranty terms, including duration and scope, will be stated in your written contract.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by: improper use or maintenance by the customer; acts of nature including freeze-thaw damage where proper sealing was not maintained; modifications made by third parties; or conditions the customer failed to disclose at the time of the estimate.
Except as stated in a written contract, all work is provided "as is" without additional warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steel Gate Franconia Concrete is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, or property damage not directly caused by our work.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that project. This limitation applies regardless of the form of the claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
